OUR STORY
The O’Herns are 5th generation farmers from western Illinois. The Spoon River Valley area is our home, and we are passionate about improving the livelihood, health, and wellness of not only our families, but of our fellow friends and neighbors. Throughout our family history, we have been heavily involved in agriculture through the production of grain and livestock. The O'Hern family has been recognized both locally and nationally for our commitment to safe, sustainable, and responsible agriculture.
Nature’s Grace and Wellness is also owned and operated by the O’Hern Family. The inspiration for this project began with the desire to help our family members, who suffer from medical conditions that benefit from access to medical cannabis. This personal connection to the benefits of the medical cannabis movement, along with the desire to help others and a passion for agriculture, compelled them to seek a role in Illinois’ Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program. We are agriculture people. The responsible, sustainable, and safe cultivation of medical cannabis is a natural extension of our family operations and the goals we have set out for the future of our community.
